The following website discusses multiple ways in which a wiki can be used in education: Ways to use Wiki in Education

I have chosen to recommend this article because of the way in which it breaks down each idea and then explains it under its own heading. You can quickly scan the headings and choose to read the topics that you are interested in. The ideas that this site recommends for ways in which wiki's can be used in education are: easily create simple websites, project development with peer review, group authoring, track a group project, data collection, review classes and teachers, presentations, Tracking progress in your research group, Promotion and Tenure Dossier, and Directory of Faculty Research. As you can see, not every topic will apply to what you are doing; therefore, it does not require someone to spend their time looking at something irrelevant in their circumstances. It gives quick and easy access.

The following website is a great tool for technology policy makers. It takes the policy maker through the appropriate questions that need to be answered in a technology policy. It outlines a step by step process that will make policy making a smoother process.
Guidelines for Creating a Policy

I also found a resource that is entitled Why Have a Technology Policy? It links to a number of different examples of AUP's including AUP handbooks and reasons for having an AUP. I felt that a number of the sites included some really great information and great examples of what policy makers may want to include or remove from their current policies.
